STEAM Bot Workshop is proud to have thtree VEX IQ Competition Teams!

VEX IQ 2020-2021 Challenge

The Robot Skills Challenge and the Teamwork Challenge use the exact same setup for the Field Elements, but the Game Elements are arranged differently.

In the Teamwork Challenge, an Alliance of two (2) Robots, operating under driver control, work together in each Match.

In the Robot Skills Challenge, one (1) Robot attempts to score as many points as possible. These Matches consist of Driving Skills Matches, which will be entirely Driver Controlled, and Programming Skills Matches, which will be Autonomous with limited human interaction.

The object of the game is to attain the highest score by Scoring and Stacking Risers in Goals, Completing Rows, and Completing Stacks

Our 2020-2021 season recap:

During this season our teams worked hard with our coaches and made it to the worlds championship competition! Both teams made great accomplishments! Team 1877A Serial Bots, an elementary school team ranked 13 in skills at worlds. Team 1877M Motor Bots, also an elementary school team ranked 29 in skills at worlds.

VEX IQ 2021-2022 Challenge

Details:

The scoring objects in VEX IQ Challenge Rise Above are 3” (7.62 cm) diameter Balls. There are a total of (22) Balls on the field. The object of the game is to score as many points as possible with your alliance partner by scoring Balls in Goals, clearing Corrals and Hanging at the end of the Match.
